About
Photography is changing - and honestly, it's about time. The stiff, studio-lit shots that scream photoshoot are making way for something more real, more honest, and far more lasting.
I'm Lauren, a content photographer based in Berkshire. I work with families who want to feel something when they look back at their photos, not just look good in them. Small businesses who want to be seen as they actually are, not as a polished version of themselves. And anyone celebrating life's big moments - weddings, birthdays, all of it - who wants the feeling of the day captured, not just the formal shots.
Why I do this
My mum used to call me a nosey parker. My teachers called me inquisitive. Both were right. I've always been drawn to what makes people themselves - the small details, the unguarded moments, the way someone's face changes when they forget they're being watched.
I studied Fine Art, spent years heading up marketing for interiors brands in London, and somewhere in all of that, photography became the thing I couldn't put down. But it took losing the people I loved the most to make me truly understand what photographs are for.
I captured so many moments with them - private ones, quiet ones, ones that will never be on this website. They are my most treasured possessions. Not because they're technically perfect. Because they're real.
That's what sent me travelling solo for a year, shooting everything on my phone, hearing again and again: you should do this for people. So I do.
Here's what makes me different
I bring nothing with me. No lighting rigs, no backdrops, no direction beyond just carry on. I work with natural light, I blend into the background, and I edit as I go - with photos delivered within 24 hours. All shot on a phone, because that's where photography is heading, and my images speak for themselves.
If you've ever looked at a photo and felt it, rather than just seen it - that's what I'm here to create.
